What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form or enter information on our site.

By default, our free coding software for Windows and Apple computers will send an error report to us when it crashes. That error report contains performance-specific data from the app itself and includes a screenshot of the app (and no other windows or programs on the computer) at the moment it crashed. This automated crash report may include the filepath where the free coding software is installed on your computer.

Our live-chat support system reports an IP address of each user when they are on the site or the free coding software. If a user engages with a live-chat, their chat history, including IP address and the email address and name the user entered, will be saved for 2 weeks by a third party (Zendesk/Zopim).
